Expect something completely different! We are a neighbourhood spot, yet nothing is ordinary. We specialize in Champagne & Fondue but have been known to stray... Our love is Champagne, and we love to share our passion. We have flights and one off bottles and always have something interesting lurking somewhere. The majority of our menu is gluten free and we are also very vegetarian friendly. We have an ever growing alcohol free list so you can be free to do you! We are a place that takes pride in our very specific offerings. We love what we do and how we do it. With 10 seats for regular nights around 15 people for Private Bookings, we cater to the intimate. We had a fantastic dinner last night at Varbar. Food was excellent and the perfect amount for 2 people (we ordered the feature fondue and added broccoli and charcuterie for dipping). Also did the champagne flight and then tried another Cremant, recommended by the staff. The restaurant is tiny but that’s what makes it extra special. It’s great to have a place like this in the area.

From the moment you walk in, the restaurant just screams intimate! Kim was our server and she was incredible! Everything was perfect and the fondue was “chefs kiss” thank you for such an incredible experience!

We visited for a family birthday. There were 3 of us. We had the fondue for 2 with extra for the third person. We also ordered the traditional cheese fondue and the beer one. The beer one was excellent with the meat portions. We then had the salt caramel fondue for desert. It was absolutely fantastic but hard to make room for as we were pretty stuffed from supper. Overall this place is excellent, a little overpriced but worth the experience. Did I mention there are only 4 tables? Excellent for date night.

Lovely evening celebrating with friends. Love the ambiance and fondue was delicious. Also appreciated that they had gluten free bread!

One of the few places (if not the only place) in town for fondue. Cosy and intimate, engaging staff, pretty good selection of champagne. We enjoyed our evening very much!
