   For a hotel restaurant it had above expectations service and really good food.

   Great hotel restaurant with upscale food quality and a casual, approachable vibe. The restaurant itself is off of the lobby adjacent to the hotel bar, but noise from guest traffic was never an issue. The menu itself has a lot of great dinner options, including generous appetizers (the charcuterie and cheese board and crab cakes are my favorites), and amazing entrees. The grilled sea bass was perfectly tender and flaky, and the vegetable pairings were solid. I tasted the chocolate cake and apple empanada for dessert—two different flavor profiles that were both excellent finishes to a wonderful meal. For drinks, the bar offers typical fare alongside a cocktail menu the staff is very proud of, as well as 8 local Texas beers on tap. Omar and Unsul helped us; both were extremely friendly and professional. If you’re staying at the Westin I would absolutely recommend a visit to Urban South Dine, and if you’re a local in the area, it’s still a great option for dinner.

   A very open and informal atrium setting, particularly adaptive to the breakfast buffet. The dinner pricing was way too high given the setting, although the food was very good.

   The Sea Bass was perfectly cooked and delicious! Manager stoped by to chat was very nice! Good by the glass wine selection. Over all a great experience!

   Food was superb and the wine list and pairing (thank you Unsal!) was perfect. They do a really great job here from the moment you're greeted to getting almost a buffet plate for dessert..yum! faves: fried goat cheese with pomegranate topping!!

   What a lovely restaurant, good food and service and atmosphere, definitely hope to go back. The crab cake sliders were YUMMY!!! Thank you Josh and Unsal for the great service. Will definitely come back

   The food was well executed. The service was just awful. We had a reservation and the restaurant was open, but no one was working the dining room. We had to go look for someone to seat us. The food came slowly, it was difficult to get our water refilled, and we watched others get up and leave because they couldn't get waited on. The restaurant seemed like they were not prepared.

   This place shows promise... but didn't seem all that "put together" yet. For a hotel restaurant (in a fancy hotel), it felt pretty casual - and not in a good way. No one at the reception when we got there, two menus - one from the bar with a lot that wasn't on the "main" menu (but we weren't told about it until I asked), couldn't serve cocktails before the bartender showed up (we were trying for brunch at 12:45pm on a Sunday, so it wasn't early!), confusing service, yadda yadda yadda. No big problems, and the food was actually quite good. But it felt disorganized and unambitious. Bummer. (I'm actually writing this in hopes that things get a lot better - this would be a perfect Sunday brunch spot for us and the thousands of others who go to church right around the corner).

    If you are staying in the hotel consider having it as room service. I would not consider this a restaurant. Hopefully it was their worst night ever or maybe they need to rethink their marketing for expectations. The restaurants in Westin hotels are usually pretty nice, however this is an open and loud section to the left of the main lobby which my date described as a hospital cafeteria. I would place it just below an airport restaurant. There was nobody to greet us, the menu did not live up to the descriptions and I would bet money they tried to sell me a Snapper in place of a Sea Bass without a comment. I love both and if they needed to substitute because they were out they could have said that.
