It’s our first time in Urban Angel and would highly recommend and we will definitely be back. The service was excellent as was the food. There’s plenty of choices and it’s a nice wee quaint place

Felt the menu prices weren’t reflected in the quality of the food - normally enjoy it but on this occasion the eggs Benedict were quite dry (not enough sauce but it was quite strong in vinegar flavour), and the egg yolks were hard so you didn’t get the benefit of a runny yolk. Veggie haggis also quite dry. Hopefully a one off!

We came earlier in the year and it was fully booked. Came back again and it did not disappoint. The food was amazing, all the staff were really friendly and the service was excellent.

We had a lovely meal with family from all over. The service was a little slow which we were compensated for, not that we minded as we had a good chance to catch up! Thanks for accommodating us.

What a find! After some online searching for the perfect breakfast spot in Edinburgh, I came across Urban Angel and we booked the last available pre booking slot for 11am. We arrived to see the place bustling and a queue outside - as we had our online booking we were quickly shown to our table. Inside the place is fantastic. A tastefully converted old house with original stoves along one side and old photos around the room. It was busy and full of people enjoying brunch or catching up with friends. Our drinks and brunch were exceptional. The attentive staff couldn’t have been more helpful - observant, quick and plenty of their team bustling around to provide fast service in this very popular spot. We are so pleased we found this place and will be sure to return on any future visits to Edinburgh. Thank you all for a great experience and wonderful food.

We had a great brunch at Urban Angel and it was definitely worth making a reservation in advance. The food, drinks and service were excellent and the staff very friendly. Thank you in particular to Oscar for chatting with our youngest daughter!
