   Nice location, but more of an upscale Dennys restaurant than anything, now keep in mind this was easter around 1:30pm. nice atmosphere, music was too loud, 45 minutes to get the food on the table. they have white hanging lights and every last light within eyesight had flies on them.

   This is our third visit to Union. We were seated upstairs, and the music was so loud, we couldn’t hear each other talk. I said something to our server, who said “I know, it’s hard to hear anything.” Finally about a half hour later, someone turned the music down. Thank goodness we ordered an appetizer, because it took nearly an hour for our food to be served. The one saving grace was that the food was delicious. There was only one valet working, so it took about 15 minutes to get our vehicle when we were done eating. Overall a disappointment.

   Absolutely fantastic food and the service experience was amazing! Definitely going to be one of my favorite spots in Tampa! Thank you for a fun evening and delicious culinary experience.

   The place was very busy, great design and ambiance. However the food options not only are disappointing, but lacking flavor (roasted chicken) as well. The service was mid at best, our waiter tried but fell short several times (drinks came out way after the food was served, he didn’t know the difference between a single malt and a bourbon, and my meal came last after the other 3 people were served). A lot of hype but not quite living up to expectations especially with such premium prices.

   Another Fantastic Experience at Union New American! My recent dinner at Union New American on Friday was, as always, a delightful experience. We were seated on the second floor, which offered a beautiful backdrop of the sunset – a perfect setting for enjoying delicious drinks and appetizers. Dinner itself was phenomenal, living up to Union's consistently high standards. However, the true highlight of the evening was our server, Eli. His service was truly exceptional. Eli was attentive without being intrusive, always timely with our requests, incredibly respectful, and remarkably efficient. He made our dining experience seamless and enjoyable. We also appreciate the warm hospitality of the manager, Steve. He consistently goes above and beyond to ensure that my guests and I have a wonderful time whenever we dine at Union. Overall, Union New American continues to be a top choice for us. The combination of delicious food, a lovely ambiance (especially the second floor view!), and outstanding service, particularly from Eli, makes it a truly memorable dining destination. Highly recommended!

   When ordering a $30 Salad you would expect a full plate of lettuce to be served , but it was half a plate with 4 shrimp on the other half! Definitely not worth the $150 final total for a salad one small sushi roll and 4 drinks! With so many restaurants to choose from in the area, we will not be returning!
