Connecting the family and the farm back to the restaurant dinner table. The goal of the restaurant is to really connect the food of the African diaspora to Appalachia and tell the story of that. Enjoy the atmosphere around the lunch counter with our open kitchen dining experience and watch the amazing Chefs. Enjoy the Montrose Garden patio with a firepit and night lights and music, looking for a more private area revel in our covered porch with wicker bistro seating. Montrose Garden is dog friendly.

It was our first time at Union 41 and we loved it! The cocktails were amazing (highly recommend the lavender 75) and the food was superb. The menu choices were unique which we really love to see when we dine out- it can be hard to come by in the area sometimes! Definitely recommend - we will be back!

We always enjoy U41, and Chef T is rolling out some new menu items and craft cocktails. The signature dishes remain, joined by a bunch of fun new stuff. Ask for seating at Leslie’s Corner to view all the action.

The cornbread was fantastic. We had the shrimp and grits, fish fry and the Rockefeller Oysters - all were really great.

Jerk chicken dinner was delicious. I’ve never had rice and peas cooked that way with so much flavor. Everything was seasoned to perfection! The jerk chicken birria tacos were amazing. The food was World class. Many compliments to the chef

Steaks were overcooked. Eggs were undercooked. The service was extremely slow and we never even got a refill on our water. The oyster had way too many bits of shell in them and were covered with way too much cheese. Disappointing.
