   Booked a table for 5 people so I got to try a lot of dishes! Everything was great. I recommend the shrimp and grits + burger + French toast. The chicken waffle sandwich looks amazing but I didn't enjoy it as much. Their drinks are cheap and food comes out fast.

   Good beer selection, salmon BLT is solid Cool room, entire front is open to the street, which is great for summertime. Saturday dinner here was fairly quiet, but I think that will switch with time.

   After reading many reviews, my friends and I decided to visit the Ugly Duckling for dinner and boy was it worth it. For an appetizer, we ordered chicken wings with the Thai chili sauce, which was very scrumptious! I ordered the chicken and waffles with a side salad, and it was all very delicious. The serving sizes of the entrée was more than enough! The beer selection was small, but the waitress suggested a cider that I loved! Overall, we will be back when visiting Brooklyn.

   Not a huge menu, but the mussels were delicious and generous enough to share, and I loved the short ribs tacos.

   Great food and drink menu. A great place for dinner with a good drink, beer and wine list. It looks like it is just a bar, but the menu was very good. The service was excellent. Great addition to the neighborhood which has a lot of bars, but not as many restaurants.

   The food we had was tasty, but kind of small for the entree we got. I usually think most plates I get serve too much food, so this was a first for me. The other entrees had more with them, so maybe it was just what we got, but for the money we expected to be full and not go somewhere else for another course. They had a nice beer selection and the one cocktail I had was well made and very tasty.

   The food is delicious! The pear and gorgonzola salad was amazing, as was the fried chicken and waffle sandwich.

    the bar had a great selection of local beer on tap. the food looked great but the taste was just a little off. the wings had good taste but i felt a little undercooked. not raw meat just wish they were more crispy and more tender. it was hard to get the meat off the bone and chewy. the fried chicken that came with the chicken & waffles was really good not so much the waffle. the shrimp that came with the shrimp and gritts didn't have much flavor. i think it got lost in the broth. i would go back for drinks though.
