   I was looking forward to trying this place for the omakase. But what caught our eye was the tasting they had on their happy hour which was a $120 for two deal. I like how the tasting give you a snippet of the menu and between two girls, it was pretty filling though we did added more nigiri’s to our order. My favorite dishes were the hamachi citrus cold plate and the dressed nigiris. The steak we received with the tasting was good as well, but it was just a bit heavy. I will say if you do the tasting, stick to only the tasting so you don’t clash flavors. Other than that, the service was amazing. Definitely a good intimate date spot.

   We had the market omakase and sadly I have to admit that it was disappointing. I thought the quality would be the same as Uchi but it was not.

   Always a lovely experience at Uchiko. Service is friendly, sushi chefs are helpful. Portions a nice size. It’s on the pricey side but always good value for money!
