   We had brunch at this spot on Saturday. I will use one word to describe the experience; PERFECT! Great Brunch cocktails, Salmon Chips and Nashville Hot Oysters were on point. My Crab cake Bennie was amazing. My son had the Chicken Biscuit. He gave me a bite, and whoa, so good. The service was even better than the food, and that is saying something. Y’all try it!

   Restaurant is extremely loud but for whatever reason the ambiance created an intimate feel even with all the noise. Our waitress Keisha was pleasant and gave great recommendations! Our appetizers were really good. We had the salmon chips and fried cauliflower and they were outstanding. Our main dish was the roasted chicken and it came with one side and it was a half filled personal size cast iron skillet; Very disappointing. We also had the strawberry and arugula salad with salmon. The salmon had no seasoning whatsoever, just bland. Disappointed yet again. We ordered the peach bread pudding…after the first bite I was underwhelmed. No flavor, just soggy sweet bread with ice cream on top. Two thumbs down. Everything is pricey these days which is understandable but you hope that for the cost, it’s worth it. It wasn’t.

   Overall, truly disappointed. From the host to waiter the service was bad. The salmon chips was thrown together.

   The parking situation is a total cluster. Then you have to pay for valet. The noise level is probably the highest of any restaurant in Atlanta. Then top it off with overpriced mediocre food.

   The service and ambiance were both perfect. I had the scallops, I really hoped they'd include 1 or 2 more scallops, the 3 small ones I got (although good) wasn't enough to warrant a $28 charge...My wife had the chicken w/ mac and cheese (fantastic!). I really, REALLY enjoyed the Aztec drink!

   We had a wonderful experience. We dined outside. Carlos and one other nice gentleman waited on us and both were very kind. We highly recommended this place!!!!

   It’s been at least 8-10 years since I’ve been at Two Urban Licks and I couldn’t believe how expensive the food was for what you got. I got the tomato salad for starters and for $15 you get 4 small heirloom tomatoe slices and 6 grape tomatoes cut in half. Not what I was expecting. And my 3 scallops on a plate of grits was $38😳 Sorry guys, not going back🥺

   Everything was super underwhelming and too quick. We ordered their highly recommended salmon chips and were incredibly disappointed. It was basically unseasoned boiled salmon served cold on a potato chip with some chives and capers. All food we ordered was served in under one minute (not exaggerating) so we ended up filling up on their appetizers and leaving in under 20min. Perhaps the entrees are better but we didn’t make it there.

    I often come to Two Urban Licks and typically enjoy the experience. However, on Tuesday (8/2) I had an encounter with a man who I assume is the manager that was very unpleasant and almost caused me to leave. My party was incomplete and after about 30 min, I asked the hostess if we could go ahead and be seated without the others. She said I could get my party and come back to the desk to be seated. When I did, a man seeming to be very frustrated chastised me about not being able to seat incomplete parties despite his hostess agreeing to seat us. I was very confused and embraced by how he spoke to me in front of my group. We returned to where we’d been waiting only to have another hostess come to seat us a couple minutes later. I was honestly scared to proceed to the table out of fear he’d turn us away again. A very confusing experience that turned out ok in the end.
