A new, growing-led “British Tapas” restaurant from the teams behind Chef's Table and Growing @Field 28. The menu features an inventive and daily-changing selection of vegetarian, vegan, meat, fish and game plates, each dish is crafted from Field 28's daily harvest of pesticide and biocide-free heritage produce and specialist leaf, served alongside a selection of hand-crafted cordials, cocktails and wines.

Lunch Offer : 3 Plates for £22, served at lunch Thursday-Saturday.

Please note we are a separate restaurant to Chef's Table. We are currently unable to accept cash at our new premises and are card-only.

    Fantastic food on Saturday afternoon. we shared nine plates of food which was just right for the three of us. Four meat and fish based two vegetable and a desert each. Locally grown food (Daresbury) wonderfully cooked. THE CHICKEN THIGHS ARE A THING OF BEAUTY! sadly the bill for drinks was incorrect as we'd been charged twice. Quickly resolved but only after we got home we realised that we'd still been charged for a glass of wine we didnt have. Too late to correct sadly.

    Perfectly sized and delicious small plates for a shared lunch - couldn’t decide between the BBQ leek hearts and whipped hazelnut tofu, and the Cheshire cauliflower with cauliflower ajo blanco as to which was the favourite dish but they were all just wonderful! A great find (thank you Giles Coren for the recommendation), we will be back.

    Delicious small plates. Favourites were the artichokes, chicken wings (teen boys), roasted leeks and the strawberries and cream. Roast pork was also very good. Excellent value as it was a Mothers day special.

    Some of the best food I’ve had, anywhere, amazing value. Steak tartare and salmon both beautiful balance and texture, not fridge-cold like so often the case. Great service and the team really seemed to care about how the food was and knew everything about it

    Mid evening on a Thursday in March, I was the only customer so the ambience was a little lacking. However, the server was very efficient and helpful and the food (steak tartare, octopus and beetroot salad) was excellent. Three small plates were certainly sufficient for my appetite.

    The tapas style plates were a good size and the unusual take on many of them was really interesting for foodies like us. We were really lucky to have a special February promotional rate for our meal, but would he been delighted to full amount. Excellent food served in nice surroundings. Very good wines by the glass
