   Everyone in our party of 6 enjoyed their meals. The food was very nice and reasonably priced and the staff were very helpful. We will definitely go agan

   Thoroughly enjoyed my meal and evening at this restaurant, and would certainly return. The food was of a high quality and the menu had a great variety (something for everyone). Few notes though: At night it is a little hard to find (the entrance being inside the pub), not a big deal though. I requested a specific table when booking on opentable a few weeks before, this was not accommodated or mentioned on arrival. As we were sitting down and before seeing the menu we were asked if we wanted poppadoms, after agreeing they were promptly brought with a sauce/chutney plate. It was never mentioned that both the poppadoms and the sauces had a separate charge, a little sneaky, but it was nice so I didn't mind. Some of the tables are a little close together (very small dining area) and thus doesn't provide much privacy if on a date. Ordered a bottle of wine which was served in an ice bucket, however it had no stand, so the waiter left the whole bucket on my dates corner of the small table. I had to relocate this onto the floor in the busy walkway next to my chair. I also feel that the waiters could be more engaging, taking time to field any questions or provide suggestions, with so few patrons this shouldn't be hard to achieve. As I said though, I would still return. But if some things were improved upon, it would take them to the next level.

   Tumeric's location within The Bramley adds to it's charm, you genuinely can get food delivered to your table in the pub on quiz night etc. The menu is varied and offers great regional specialities as well as the traditional favourites you would expect to see on the menu. The team are open to taking special requests off menu if you ask, and have done a traditional Kurzi Lamb Feast in the past for me when I've had visitors wanting something special (whole leg of lamb coked for 24 hours as a banquet style meal) The spicing is excellent and a serious cut above your usual 'curry house' with thoughtful presentation. Yes it's in a pub but don't let that put you off, the food really is wonderful and well worth a visit.

   Having booked after looking at the website we were expecting a sunday buffet for 9.95. It turned out to be a set menu at 11.95 so suggest the website is updated. Most of the starters were fried. the main courses were tasty. Staff were either over present or not around. One member perhaps not so aware of food hygiene. thumb was in one of the bowls of food. also he took glasses that were on the window sill in groups of 4 using his fingers and put them on the tables without polishing them first. So it was ok but will not be rushing back

   Having been eating indian food for many years i didn't find the food of very good flavour, very bland, the mixed grill was over cooked and didn't have any depth of taste. Service was good, waiters very helpful, unfortunately we didn't feel that the setting for a restaurant should be in a fairly noisy public house, where you had to fight your way past the locals to get to the restaurant door !., also the door was open throughout our meal with all the noise from the pub, when you would expect to be in a quite ambiance. Overall experience, not good, shall not be going back.
