   I went for a birthday dinner with friends. This was our first time. We loved it! Great service and great food. I will be back.

   I had a reservation at 1:00 on a Monday for lunch. We were seated immediately and asked for a baby highchair. Thirty minutes later, we had not been given a high chair or waters. A waitress finally approached us and apologized and said she would be right back. Other tables were seated with customers and waited on while we continued to wait. Ten minutes later I asked her to please get us service as there seemed to be plenty of wait staff available and she asked for drink orders then. Still no baby highchair. When she brought half of our drinks, we asked again for the highchair and finally got it. We got our food quickly, but still only had half of the drink orders. The food was good, but I will be very hesitant to return because of the poor service.

   Food was bland, no seasonings. I was surprised that the chicken tenders needed the dipping sauce. Somewhat disappointed. My main plate of the classic chicken and waffles, similar experience. Waffle was light and fluffy but chicken was bland.

   Totally unimpressed. We've eaten at Tupelo Honey several times in other cities and always realy enjoyed it. Tonight was the exception. The brussels were way over salted and the sauce was way too heavily applied. Our entrees were fine, but the service was incredibly slow. We arrived promptly at 5:15p with a reservation, were seated promptly, and then we sat with our menus for what felt like forever. Our server took forever to come see us, and then was sparse the entire evening. Very disappointed.

   We had a terrible server. After 15 minutes sitting I had to go the hostess to see if we had a server, and if we could at least get water. We were sitting on the patio and it was 80. It was Easter, but the food took 45 minutes to come out. Other tables in our area were also having issues with the server not being attentive. It was a very disappointing experience. This was our first time at this location in Columbia, and we will not be back. There are plenty of other better restaurants in the Columbia area.

   Our experience was great. Fast & the server was very efficient . She tended to us with a positive attitude along with got our food to us promptly . Answered our questions with knowledge and pass visitors experience about certain dishes .

    Everything about Tupelo Honey was great. I had the fried chicken - SUPER tasty! Side of Brussel sprouts were roasted to perfection. My daughter had the chicken and waffles. First time she’s ever liked Mac and cheese outside the home. Our server was very lovely and didn’t hesitate to answer questions when asked. Would definitely recommend!!
