   Excellent meal with Chris our server giving us recommendations. Sea Bass & Crab stuffed lobster was the main course and a special flaming baked Alaska for a birthday surprise

   We started with the calamari and it was delicious. I had the Red Fish which was a bit more charred than I prefer. Wife had the seared tuna which was cooked perfectly and really good. Only complaint is we were offered bread and water after being seated and then they charged us $6 for the bread. Not a fan of that.

We apologize for the charring issue with the Red Fish, and we'll definitely take your feedback on board to improve our cooking techniques. Also, we do offer complimentary purified water but our bread is not; It is an add on ala carte appetizer option on the menu. Sorry it was not explained by your server and we will ensure they all review menu options to our guests.    We went to Truluck’s to celebrate two birthdays. We chose an earlier dinner reservation which was perfect. It started off very quiet but the energy quickly picked up after 5:30pm. Overall, the meal was great and we’ll definitely be back. We had a party of 4 which was a bit of a tight fit. The items we didn’t love were the mac and the crème brûlée. The crab stuffed lobster, salmon, scampi, crab cake were amazing. We also order some medium crab claws for the table and we’d pass on those as well for future visits. They threw in a free birthday dessert for one of our guests but not the other which felt a bit awkward as it was a milestone birthday. If I had to pick a down side to service that would be it. Didn’t let it spoil our night and again, the large majority of the food was top tier.

   Everything was very very good. The stone crab was excellent as was the stuffed lobster. We received a complimentary baked Alaska to celebrate my wife's birthday. Really enjoyed our meal despite the cost being pretty pricey. We will be back.

   Truluck’s has always been one of our favorite restaurants, but the one in Plano needs to make some improvements. Their wine by the glass list is lacking. They didn’t offer us any bread while waiting for our food. Their lobster bisque is overly peppery. We sat next to a 4 top table people left from and the table wasn’t cleared for an hour. The restaurant is beautiful and the service was good, but we aren’t in a rush to return.

   The food was excellent at Truluck's. Strongly recommend the calamari. Wine list is good. Food was a little slow coming out of the kitchen and it took a while to get seated. But the food was worth the wait.

    We love Truluck’s and the Plano location does not disappoint. Had my fix of oysters and stone crab. Great fish dishes, cocktails and wine selection. Baked Alaska is scary good dessert.
