Still hitting on all cylinders at Butcher & Table. Excellent selection and variety of cocktails to start off the experience. A different yet tasty change on the classic wedge salad. Attentive yet not cloying service. Great selection of steaks, at fair market prices, expertly prepared. The 35 day dry aged KC Strip was a treat and the filet was perfectly medium rare and melted in your mouth. The potato roasties are wonderful at both “Table” and “Barrel”. 3/4 of desserts were gluten free so we tried the flourless chocolate tort - wonderful flavor and consistency and the sauce was divine. Great selection of wines across regions, varietals AND price points.

I have eaten at this restaurant several times and usually the food is very good. This was not the case this time. I ordered a prime New York strip that was absolutely terrible. I ordered the steak medium rare and it came out rare and it was very tough. Even though I had reservations, I still had to wait 20 minutes for my table. I had to ask repeatedly to get my water glass filled. The waiter was nonexistent for most of the meal.

Had friends visiting from out of town today and wanted to take them someplace really nice - know that I can count on True Blue! The food is always exceptional, the ambiance is appealing, and the service is spot on. Having Benny Hill serenade us was a delightful add-on! That's why I keep coming back - an interesting and appetizing menu, great food and great service! Thank you True Blue!

First time as we were visiting from out of town and turned out to be a great brunch recommendation from a local friend. Food was great all around. Mimosa flight (ask for juice on the side) and cocktails on point. Will definitely try again for dinner sometime.

We eat at True Blue a few times a year and it never disappoints. We always order a steak because the steaks are always tender and flavorful. We have never had a disappointing meal here.

This used to be our go-to spot in the Wilmington area, so when we came back to town, we made sure to make reservations. Sadly, our usual server is no longer working there, and our new server was very anxious, nervous and made us feel on edge. Additionally, we see that the menu has stayed the same, but the prices are much higher. We totally understand the rising costs of food, so we expected the increase, but some of the prices made me pause. $7 for herb butter? There is also a 3% fee added to the check for back of the house staff. I've never seen this "restaurant appreciation" charge on a bill before. We always tip 20% if not more for our servers, but this additional fee just seemed a bit "scammy". We also noticed that there were only 2 other parties at the time of our dinner on a Sunday evening. I'm assuming others have had the similar change in experience and are not returning? I've also seen that this restaurant owner is under scrutiny for stealing tips. The food is always amazing, perfectly cooked and fresh. However, the vibes are different and it's sad to see our fave place change not for the good.
