   Tropic was easily the best restaurant I visited during my time in Tamarindo! The owner has achieved something really special that is unlike any other place in the area. The cocktails are inspired, creative, and beautifully presented. The Mahi Mahi was the best I've ever had. The fried avocado was also super unique and insanely delicious. I had dinner there two nights in a row. Every bite and sip I had was perfection. Tropic will undoubtedly be my first stop when I return to Tamarindo.

   Food was unique. Doing their own takes on things which is great but expect different. They did not have the wine I ordered (I guess) so they just brought something else and opened it without checking if I wanted the alternate - which was very strange. (Ordered a Chardonnay and they brought a Chardonnay sav blanc blend - so not the same thing at all). Presentation and plating was amazing and cocktails very unique. So o really very good

   outstanding vibe, drinks came in the most fun cups/presentations, the cutest animals walking around, ambiance was super tropical and felt private in the town. Amazing service, food was amazing too! MAKE THE RESERVATION it's so worth it!

   Amazing food. Amazing service. Each drink was so wonderfully customized by presentation. Food was hand down the best we had in Tama. Can’t recommend enough

   Our dinner was extraordinary. We were so relieved as well, because the food on the Main Street was garbage! We had ceviche, avocado and the patty for starters, then the chicken and the octopus. The food was superb. Cocktails delicious. Service was excellent. We’ll probably go back again before we leave, the best in Tamarindo!

   An incredible experience. The owner, chef, and staff are all incredibly attentive and clearly invested in the cuisine and experience. A must-visit if you’re in Tamarindo.

    Of all the places I’ve gone in Guanacaste, Tropic Tamarindo was by far the best experience. The vibe was exactly what you imagine when you plan a trip to Costa Rica. The food was out of this world. The staff was exquisite! I loved everything about Tropic Tamarindo & I will definitely be returning one day!
