Cosy, family run, 17th Century inn nestled between Mawgan Porth and Watergate Bay.

We are dog friendly, please inform us in the notes of your booking if a dog is coming with you.

Please count children in your numbers when making a booking including infants that require a highchair. It is unlikely we will be able to move your party to a bigger table on arrival when children haven't been included in the original booking.

Please make us aware of any dietary requirements when booking.

No shows are a real issue in our industry, we understand plans change and that is no problem at all but please do let us know in order that we can offer your table to another party.

    Great range of food all cooked to a very good standard. Was a nice genuine home cooked quality food alternative to overrated Watergate Bay hotel owned eateries further down the hill

    We went for our 56th anniversary took friends. We thoughrly enjoyed the evening. Never had a bad experience whenever we have eaten at travellers rest. Would and have always recommend it.

    Great vegetarain sunday roast. We were a big table of 16 and everything came out from the kitchen smoothly and all together. Food was great.

    Family of 4. We all had the roast. Very good. We’ve been going for a few years but Travellers rest seem to have made improvements to the roast. The veg was particularly good, 👌
