   Food was bland. Drinks too expensive and in tiny glasses. Ordered a full size Salad but received an old and small salad, size of a side salad. Wasn’t worth the prices listed.

   We had not been in since the hurricanes. Love the new lay out. As always, the food was spot on. Our fans are the eggplant and the gnocchi.

   It actually pains me to say this, after my first experience here went so well. It appears that the restaurant has undergone a face lift, the older, more classic Italian feel is gone, replaced with an interior that could be ripped out of any restaurant in a 25 mile radius. The lone exception would be the cool hockey/refs jerseys on the walls upstairs, but I digress. The food, which I remember being absolutely amazing, is now somehow no longer close to what it once was. Portions are small, apparent in 7 pieces of potato strewn on my fiancés plate, or the fact my pasta only had 5 small bites of chicken. The salad wasn’t even that good, in fact it felt warm, almost like it had been sitting, waiting to be taken to us for a long time. The service was not much better either. After being sat, I watched numerous busy staff rushing around. I sat quietly for roughly 10-15 minutes before having to alert someone that we hadn’t had a server come by. The waitress was polite, but the timing of our food was awful. As soon as we ordered an appetizer, it was on table in 3 minutes. Waiting for our salads though took about a half hour from completion of appetizer, and my salad was visibly warm, and so was upset. Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend this restaurant. It pains me to say it, but they are passing the costs of their redesign along to the customer, while shorting the once generous portions. There are plenty of other great restaurants, this just ain’t one of them anymore.

   Thank you for your feedback, Joe. We’re sorry to hear that your recent visit didn’t live up to your first great experience. Due to extensive flood damage from the hurricanes, the renovations were necessary. While we aimed to refresh the space, we understand it looks different than it used to. We’ll take your feedback into account as we continue to fine-tune the ambiance. Regarding the food and service, we're sorry the portions and timing were not up to standard. This is definitely not the experience we want for our guests, and we will address these issues with our team to ensure they are fixed. We hope you’ll give us another chance in the future to show you the quality and service you’ve come to expect.

   Our meal was fabulous as always! Our server was very knowledgeable about the wine selections and the menu. Trattoria Pasquale is one of our favorite restaurants. We will definitely be back!
