Tucked behind El Barrio Cantina in Long Beach, Tokyo Noir is an intimate 25-seat speakeasy with a side-alley entrance and world-class cocktail program, co-concepted by restaurateur/founder Jesse Duron and acclaimed mixologist Kevin Lee. As a whole, this discreet speakeasy concept will surprise locals and impress the industry.

Authentically Tokyo given its small space off an alley in an old building. They do serve some small food portions, but they are mainly a whiskey bar. Not cheap, but worth the experience.

Great place. Took too long for the bartenders to serve us. Food nothing special. Small portion for the cost. Drinks were amazing Not happy that there is only a 90 min stay, especially when you have only just received your second drink 10 mins before time is up, so could not really enjoy it.. probably won’t come back.. spent a lot of money there

Such a tiny yet really fun venue. Fantastic drinks and food. A real speak-easy where you push a button to get in and wait for them to open the door. So cool!!

Review for drinks + environment. Drinks we had were great and well balanced. We enjoyed the live ice carving. Service: The speakeasy persona transcends into the service. Even with a reservation it's felt as if we were bothering them for a seat which for us was a bit of a turn off. Inside is not memorable, lighting is bright for a bar in general and unfortunately negated any cozy speakeasy vibes they were trying to achieve. Overall it was nice to try but not somewhere we would go back bring out of towners to.

The place was great with a sophisticated edge. Great drinks each with a unique glass and ice shape. The food menu is not extensive but everything was wonderful. Our bill was less than I expected so Tokyo Noir is a good value. Our seats at the bar were perfect. It was fun to watch the bartenders make drinks and sculpt ice. They were also friendly and talkative. We will certainly be back.
