   Part of Restaurant Week in Beaver Creek. Sub-par experience overall for a place that is usually great. Still working out the shift from Italian to more Eastern Mediterranean. Got some work to do.

   The menu has changed but not for the better. Apparently there are new owners, who believe that the Toscanini Italian tradition is to be abandoned.

   Delicious food, Braised short ribs are fabulous! We dined three times at Toscanini’s in our two week stay. Highly recommended!

   We had no idea that it is now serving Mediterranean food and we’re very disappointed as we were planning on their usual great Italian food. We were celebrating a friend’s birthday and had checked the menu online and it was Italian food. The waitress tried to be very upbeat about this and our food was good but not what we were looking for. They also had a large, very loud table near us that hindered our conversation. We have eaten there several times when we were in Beaver Creek but won’t rush back.

    Good meal. Attentive wait staff. I had lamb and my wife had the salmon. Both were very good.
