   Food as good, but the service and atmosphere needs a lit of help. The server forgot to order one of our meals, although it came out hot, it took another 15 minutes. The food as good, and presented well for this type of restaurant. I picked this place over a Chipotle or Chile's hoping it would exceed our expectations... Food was above average, service BAD>

   When we got to the restaurant both outdoor entrances were locked. You have to go through the Red Lyon Hotel to get in but there were no signs indicating this. This was frustrating. When we got in there were a couple of workers standing on the other side of the room looking at something. Not sure what but they weren't paying any attention to customers. We were in line behind a couple who must have been standing there unseated for a few minutes because they had just asked if someone could seat them. One of the workers on the other side of the room said in a very irritated tone, "We'll be with you in a minute!". the couple looked at each other and said, "She just yelled at us." They were able to laugh about it but we were appalled and left. Very few customers and the ones that were there didn't look like they were enjoying themselves very much.

   Wanted to take a friend for her birthday. When we got there I told the person that sat us it was my friends birthday and pointed them out, to surprise her at dessert with a special dessert, First waited a good while for our Margaritas, which were watered down and not tasty at all ! Before we finished our appetizers, our main dishes were put on the table rushed. How can one enjoy the setting and atmosphere, when you are not offered another drink and not allowed to finish your appetizers. The dinner was tasteless, and the rice was cold. I had the steak, I would be embarrassed to charge $17.00 for the small piece of steak. Then the waitress announces “it’s someone’s birthday “. So much for the surprise. I asked for an expresso, then told that the machine is shut off at 11 AM. So I asked for a regular coffee, and it was also cold. By this time my friends and I were so angry, I asked for the check. I was given a ten percent discount of an $80.00 dollar check. I have never been so embarrassed in my life with a restaurant. The manager never showed their face! They ruined my friends birthday surprise. I also had another guest from out of town. It’s ashamed to pay for food that ended up in the garbage. I used to be a food critique in New York. Believe me if I were in New York I would have placed closed! And by the way the music was Dominican and Puerto Rican!!!

   Rude manager, very bad experience. For sure won’t be coming back and would NEVER recommend to a friend. I would tell them to go to Taco Bell that’s down the street over your restaurant

   Great food, fantastic service, especially Big E our server. Prices were comparable for the food served. Only complaint I had was I was supposed to get a free appetizer because I reserved my table online. I failed to take a copy of my reservation confirmation, and apparently it was nothing registered electronically on my reservation because it was never offered to me. Other than that, it was a wonderful dining experience.

    Hour to get served. New waiter without guidance. Hour to get bills. Then unable to split checks even tho we requested separate ones. Terrible. Will never return. Management not involved and obviously does not care.
