   Such a delight! We chose Toro out of the blue while overnight in Dania Beach awaiting our cruise on Easter Day. The ambiance is unique and elegantly supports the theme that “toro” suggests. The tequila cocktails we ordered were fantastic - though be prepared for the heat of the habeñero tequila! Both our app and our main dishes were scrumptious - fresh and very delicious. We’ll definitely return to enjoy more Toro!

   This was a great pick for my niece 30th birthday party! Everyone enjoyed the atmosphere and our server/ bartender/ educator of all things tequila, DANNY! He was very knowledgeable and attentive. He appreciated his great hospitality and will definitely be back soon ! Even if it’s just to stop in to say hi to Danny and Christian .

   Service was A+++. Sebastian was great and he took care of my family and I with such care and detail. The food was also amazing. Thank you very much!

   Came for dinner for with a few friends, half our party was really late but the staff was very accommodating and friendly. They were very knowledgeable about the menu and the drinks and had very good suggestions

   The whole experience from start to finish was amazing, the food and drinks were great. The only issue I have is that unless you know where you are going then it’s very hard to find as not really sign posted that well at all from the outside.

   We were really excited to try this place as lovers of mezcal and tequila. We made a reservation and were not greeted for a good 5 minutes when we arrived. Eventually a server asked us if we’d been helped, and proceeded to find our reservation. She SENT us to the library where the bartender looked at us like we were crazy for walking in… he was very confused. And so were we. He told us we could sit wherever and then we waited for a server but no one showed up. It was a really weird experience honestly. Eventually we just got up and walked out. Maybe they were understaffed? Regardless, terrible service and not what you expect from a high end restaurant on date night. Also the parking was self-service but paid…if you actually value good top to bottom service, take your money elsewhere.

   We were blown away with our entire experience. Sebastian, our server, was extremely knowledgeable not only on the menu but the history and plans of Toro and Chef Richard Sandoval. His service was exceptional and he was wonderful to talk to. The manager who stopped at our table again was exceptional. He helped make our experience feel personal. Food was top-notch. We are from out of town but we will absolutely be coming back!

   The ambience was appealing and cozy. The service was great. The food was full of flavor and satisfying especially the mashed potatoes. Great for date night or dinner with friends.

   Toro's experience is one of a kind. The food is delicious and the hospitality is even better. I recommend sitting in the Tequila Library if you are looking for customized and AMAZING drinks by Danny. He is the bartender and is ALWAYS there!

    Loved the Nikkei ceviche and my husband loved the octopus and the smoked swordfish dip (as well as his glass of Lapis, which was not on the tequila menu). The octopus itself was great but the sauce on the potatoes that came with it was too spicy for me, so if you’re a baby like I am, beware. Also. If you don’t care for cilantro, let them know. They use baby sprouts of it on top of the ceviche and other things. Easy to skip that. Service by Ava was great. Polite, attentive, checked on us multiple times. I was not impressed with the austere decor, but my husband liked it. They were less than half full when we arrived at 6 on a Friday, so the noise was not bad. If it was crowded, I surmise the hard surfaces everywhere would make it intolerable for me. I’d go back just for the ceviche with ponzu sauce, that was excellent and beautifully prepared. The clean attractive restrooms are off the hotel lobby and they’re a bit of a hike from the restaurant.
