   Quaint dining experience. All food ordered was very good. Lobster Bisque and Lamb Chops were outstanding.Definitely would recommend. We will definitely return soon to try their Tavern Lunch menu offering burgers, salads and sandwiches.

   This was our first time visiting Top of the World. When we approached the summit we were impressed with the ambiance. When entering the establishment we found the welcome a bit cold and a bit strange. This coldness continued during the meal. We made the best of the situation and enjoyed what was very good food. We felt as if some situation was occurring that caused a disruption in what must be a better experience. I would visit and judge for yourself before booking a reservation. It may have just been an off night?

   The last great meal we had at Top Of The World was in 2014 when Kevin was the chef. The food last weekend was OK, better than some we had in the last 3/4 years but not the same as we keep hoping for. The halibut was a beautiful piece of fish but it was served barely warm and not much flavor. The duck was OK. The stuffed mushrooms and onion soup were good. We love the ambiance and the view, so we'll keep trying.

   What an outstanding gem- far from the crowd in Lake George Village, in a beautiful setting on top of a mountainside. Menu is not extensive, just a few well chosen dishes that were prepared well. Unusually quiet for a Saturday evening- hopefully the word gets out about this sweet little place.
