   Mother’s Day. This restaurant closed at 3 pm. OpenTable confirmed we had a reservation for 5 pm. They have had this happen in the past. DO NOT RESERVE WITH OPEN TABLE unless you also confirm with the restaurant. They indicated they would like to be out of the open table system and no one will respond. We drove a long way to a small town for a lake view and ended up in a dark spot in town that still had room for us, as our other top choices were full. I don’t know who is at fault, but this was one Mother’s Day fiasco I hope no one else has to repeat. It was hard on the hungry kids while we called around for another place, and a huge disappointment for us. OPEN TABLE UP TO YOU TO FIX THIS IN YOUR SYSTEM. IT’S BAD FOR BUSINESS!

   Only problem is communication on the phone. I was told there was two seatings on Mother’s Day, when I arrived they told me they were serving 11 to 3. So we arrived early from Ontario New York, and drove around for an hour thinking we could not be seated till three, which was not true. Confusing! Our waitress was the best ever, I wish I could remember her name, I know she had two daughters, I believe they work there too. She was incredible.
