We enjoyed our meal immensely. It was a little to dark to read the menu without a flashlight! The staff made us feel very comfortable and shared plenty of knowledge with us.

The food at Tonka is always of the highest quality and always extremely tasty! The staff are a terrific combination of warm and engaging - not too obtrusive though and above all professional and knowledgeable.

We arrived early, but were still invited in to the bar to have a drink, even though they were still prepping. The atmosphere was fantastic, and the smell was amazing. We let the waitress order for us and it was fabulous. Our service from our waitress and everyone else very attentive. The only two things we found slightly annoying was that the Semillon was disengaged and not very enthusiastic, and the napkins were like cardboard. Will return, however rather expensive for the serving sizes.

We enjoyed a great lunch at Tonka. The food was tasty and very well presented and the staff were knowledgeable and friendly. The wine list offered many superb options. We would definitely recommend Tonka for a special lunch.

We had a nice corner table & service was very attentive. The waitress was accommodative in putting together a menu of dishes we wanted for approx $112 pp including a couple of wines,cocktail & soft drink. The kale pakora was nice but a bit over fried & black, the steak tartare was very good. The tandoori trout & cauliflower dish were yum! The let down was the duck korma- the duck was tender but the gravy was non existent,just a coconut cream paste which lacked flavour. Quite an insipid dish !
