   The food was delicious - the scallops starter came with an incredible sauce, my husband’s fish and chips was classy, and my fish dish was unusual in a good way, very flavoursome. Excellent cheeseboard, and I ordered pannacotta, which I don’t normally as I find it bland, but it sounded an interesting version and it was.

   The starters of oysters and scallops were delicious but very expensive for the amount. The line caught haddock was overcooked and the chips were ok but nothing special for £26

   Food was a little disappointing, went to Toms previously and had mussels in a cream sauce which I really enjoyed, this time the menu was very limited, and a little expensive for the products on offer. I appreciate that the menu shouldn’t be vast but only 2 fish courses, 1 lobster, 1meat, 1 vegetarian and a seafood platter available. I ordered a half lobster, hardly any flesh in the main shell , luckily the claw had something, I got about 4 mouthfuls from it . Appreciate lobster is normally quite an expensive dish but £38.00 for 4 mouthfuls. My partner had fish of the day haddock a much better option and value. Don’t think I will bother to go back again.

   An exceptional experience in every way. Food was of a very high standard, so compliments to the chefs, and we experienced a superb waiting service.

   An exceptional restaurant found by chance! I can’t fault the whole experience for our lunch today. Sea view table provided as per request on booking. Friendly staff throughout service. Food a true delight, the scallops were wonderful. Mains of cod and beef cooked to perfection. Rhubarb dessert a lovely finish and beautifully presented. We shall be coming back again! Thank you to everyone at Tom’s Lyme Regis!

    Outstanding service provided by Scott who looked after us extremely well. Food was fantastic and made even better by Tom - chef and owner coming round the tables to talk to the diners. It was great to hear about the province of the food and the journey that the restaurant has taken. Would highly recommend.
