Great place for a group to have dinner. A bit to smokey but that is what is expected of a restaurant like this. Service was great! We especially like our waitress. Only thing they need some woman cooking on the tables!

Great food great service expensive food , but what do you expect? The only complaint was that I literally caught a cold in the joint ! It must have been 50’ in there

This was our first time at Kobe. We understood the Japanese Steak House concept. The building is very authentic appearing and is surrounded with good approximation of Japanese gardens. On entering we were asked to wait to be seated, but there isn't really anywhere to wait. The hallway we ended up in near a bar area smelled of stale beer. Quite a few other groups waited with us. We were seated with a family with young children. It was cramped at the table. As the restaurant filled it was very frenetic with noise from the servers, the patrons, the cooks at each table, the exhaust fans above us and surprising to us--quite a few young children. Prices seemed high, but there was a lower price menu which we selected our food from. Food was OK. Portions a bit small. I don't think we would return, but I don't want anyone reading this to get the wrong idea. Most of the tables were really having a blast. It just wasn't for us.

We absolutely love the food and the environment, our chef was very good at cooking our meal but was not as entertaining as we have experienced in the past visits service was amazing that you for a wonderful date night

Been there before had better service. Not as happy this time it took forever. We sat there for an hour before someone came out to start preparing our food. Was not the same I feel like it was a waste of my money.
