   On first visit to the Swan a few weeks ago,could not fault it.Went this week with friends as we had recommended it,but were thoroughly dissapointed,staff didn't seem bothered if they attended to us or not,food was just about warm,waitress was unfriendly and not at all interested in making an effort,also my friends had a pot of tea,and in the spout they found a piece of folded up card ,so not impressed with the cleanliness either,will not be recommending to any one.Such a let down after our first visit Yours dissapointed customer

   For the money and food is fine. Vegetables were a little dry but for me the most important ( apart from the meat) are the Roast potatoes and on the night I went they were fantastic. Seating was fairly private our table was a little bit wobbly. Staff always friendly.

   We went as a small party just before Christmas and received excellent service from Lesley, the food was tasty and the bill was very reasonable.

   Had a carvery. Food ok. Meat good but vegetables obviously been standing too long and had dried out. Also roast potatoes weren't too fresh. Atmosphere good. Not too expensive.

   Carvery very good, desserts mediocre. Obviously frozen, disappointing. Good service, staff friendly and very helpful to friend with severe nut allergy, did their best checking ingredients.

   Good carvery. Friendly service. Booking on-line nearly a disaster - the White Swan does not get electronic notification. It was lucky I phoned to check.

   Food is good value, but syrup sponge pudding has changed recently and is awful! Staff always very polite and friendly.

   Booking was not received at the white swan was told that they do not take on line book. Which could leave a person very disappointed and there was not a table

    The amount of meat poor. Very thin and not much of it. Bearing in mind we were accidentally give a go large portion by accident!!! We didn't think it met a normal portion. Most of the veg was tepid only warmed by the gravy. The roast potatoes were good The server was excellent and tried her best to make this a good experience.
