   the food was tasty but just not hot enough which i must admit it is usually that way. the waiter was rather pushy, we were still drinking our drinks and he pushed us to pay. i do not understand why there are no sprouts or parsnips on offer, they are cheap enough in the supermarkets.

   4 of us men arrived at 08.15 for breakfast as we have done on many occasions only to find the bacon couldn't be cut with a knife, the eggs were solid (and i mean solid) the sausages were dried up and the mushrooms looked like they had been boiled but not enough. Probably the worst breakfast we've ever had and the place, which is usually buzzing at this time, was nearly empty.

   Surprisingly quiet for a Saturday evening so waitress available immediately. Food plentiful and excellent.

   The food at the Coldra was beautiful as was the wine. Very good service. I will recomend it. Thank you .

   Went here for a Sunday lunch and expected it to be busy. When we arrived we got placed on a table right next to the carvery line. The line was busy and loud and people were really close to our table looking over us. When we lined up there was a 15 min delay. The people behind the carvery bar were just cleaning it and no one was serving the food to the long line that they had. The food was not bad but it was difficult for us to go and get a refillable drink as the line was always in the way of our table. Some staff were lovely but the ones behind the carvery counter were grumpy and you couldn't understand what they were saying as they were speaking everyday chit chat to each other. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
