   Thoroughly enjoyed our lovely hot breakfast at The Captain Manby. From welcome on arrival, server and waitresses all were friendly and welcoming. Good hot food in lovely atmosphere. We had a lovely time here and will return again for breakfast.

   The Lady that served our table was great and friendly. Shame the chap serving the roasts was not so friendly. Food is great value for money and drinks good. On this occasion a bit cold for a roast but this I think was ...hopefully not the norm.

   Always great value for money with great service ,good food.A good idea was advertised for new years eve .

   Easy to book online. No waiting for table when arrived,good selection of meats and vegetables and very tasty. Difficult to fault RonB

   As usual the Carvery at Capt Manby's couldn't be faulted, it was a last minute thought and booked via the opentable Apponly 1 hour before, but there was a disconnect between the App and the restaurant, they couldn't see my booking, however I managed to show the booking conf. from OpenTable and the Manager did his utmost to sort us a table, even though people were being told it was 1.5 hour wait, he got us in straight away and couldn't be more apologetic, even though it was no-ones fault. Hats of for customer service. I would always recommend booking ahead as this place is just so busy most of the time, great staff, great service, perhaps my only comment would be one extra barperson needed at such peak time's.

   Never disappointed the food always tastes great and we never leave hungry. The breakfasts are good value too but sometimes the bacon has been left under strong heat lights and has gone hard and tough.

   Our meal which was beef was delicious, and as usual the service was great. We have always found the staff help and friendly.

   Food and service was good. Luckily they had a table as the booking had not reached them which could have meant a wasted 35 mile journey

    The restraint was as always. To a good standard & choice.. the on line booking however was not rec'd by the resteraunt however after showing them the confirmation email on my phone they found us a table. Staff brilliant. On line booking not so good !
