   Generous sized portions and great beef and turkey. Excellent, friendly service and nice to be seated in a booth. Discount voucher makes it all the more appealing. Good to see they are now serving lamb on Sundays, shame they don't have it all week too.

   One of the best Toby restaurants, always a good selection of veg, can get a bit busy but that is a sign of it’s justifiable popularity.

   At the time of visit, the restaurant was not as busy as normal for the time of day(6pm). Seated by host quickly, but waitress took so long to approach our table for drinks order, we actually queued for food. While in the queue, the waitress came to us and took our drinks order. Turkey was nice but beef was extremely fatty and tough in places, while some of.the veg looked and tasted as if it had been reheated from the lunchtime service. Even when paying the bill, the waitress took the money and I had to go and find her to get my change.

   Good meal, few chewy bits in the beef, but not worth complaining about. Great value with the 2 courses deal or 20% off food. The usual Merlot was not available and the substitute was not nearly as good. Disappointed that they still do not accept the Opentable dining cheque or gift card. Not much point in collecting the Opentable points when it is almost impossible to find a local restaurant that will accept the cheques or cards when points have been redeemed. This more or less defeats the object of using Opentable as most restaurants now have their own online booking system. I have complained to Opentable before and suggested they make all restaurants which subscribe to them more aware of the dining cheque and gift card system, but this does not seem to have happened yet.

   Too busy food not good my granddaughter went to toilet straight after food upset stomach. Toilets were disgusting someone had soiled in wash basin disgusting. I had to complain. Will never return!!!

   Food and service very good but disappointed that they had run out of beef by 7.30 pm. The chef said it had been very fatty. Pork and turkey were nice but prefer to have beef. Unusual for them not to have any, I only remember it happening once before.

   Very good quality food and extremely good value. Staff are always very friendly and efficient. They made a real effort to decorate the table for my Brother's 70th birthday with balloons etc. which was really nice. Very good atmosphere too. Excellent now that table reservations can be made as there was always a wait before. Good that we can take our dog to the outside area when the weather is nice enough. Will definitely return and recommend.
