   If you are looking for beautifully prepared food, great ambience and a warm welcome and good service then Tito’s is a restaurant for you. This restaurant never disappoints and is strongly recommended

   We booked this restaurant for our wedding anniversary. I was excited as I had heard good things. When we got there we asked to sit outside. Once our food arrived an alarm from a nearby shop started, the waiter even said to us, 'well that is going to be annoying'. Once this was pointed out to us, we could not get the sound out of our heads, I could see it was distressing my Husband.He then asked if we could sit inside, to which the Waiter replied “it’s the same inside here mate”. So my Husband sat back down to try and block it out and enjoy his meal. No luck. He went back inside to see if the staff had called anyone to sort out the problem, they simply said it was nothing to do with them. My Husband explained that we are paying a lot of money for our meal and wine but we simply cannot enjoy it and we do not feel this was a fair situation. The Manager came out to us in an aggressive manor saying how this was not his fault the alarm was going off, he has cooked us our food and we were ungrateful. He said he did not appreciate my husband’s aggressive manor (it was quite clear he was the aggressive one) He said you can leave or stay. My Husband then explained that we loved the food and were not complaining about that just that we could not enjoy our meal with this constant noise going off. He gave us a choice to leave or stay. The alarm had just turned off so we decided to stay.However after letting the conversation set it, I got very upset. The Manager made us feel like it was our fault and I felt like I could not enjoy my now cold meal. I said we should just pay for our wine and the half of the meal we have eaten. The Manager came out and then said just leave, do not pay leave but never come back. We left feeling embarrassed, cross and upset. What a way to ruin our anniversary. Since this has happened he has then tracked me down on facebook and told me to take this review down. I feel like I may not be the only one who he has tried to bully to take down bad reviews!

   Great first visit to Tito’s. Warm day, side doors open, pork dish x 2 and nice bottle of white. Excellent.

   Love the food at Titos and the new layout. Would like to have half a litre of sangria for two people, as a litre is too much.

   The food is absolutely delicious! Don’t be fooled by what you might think are small tapas dishes because the flavours are so intense you don’t big portions.

   The new look Titos definitely worked for us. We had a very enjoyable and lively evening - food and wine great - the staff too. If you have not yet visited this local gem in Worthing - please do so.

    This was mine and my wife’s first visit to Titos and our initial impression was that this was a very smart little restaurant, with a relaxed vibe and with good smelling food cooking away in the background. Unfortunately the experience went downhill from there. First we were told there was no ice in the restaurant so they couldn’t make sangria and the waiter, who also seemed to be the manager, advised they couldn’t go out and get any as they were short staffed. We then settled on a beer for me and a wine for my wife which the waiter later admitted he forgot about, which was after we chased him for our drinks. We were also told that as we had a 7.45pm booking and the kitchen closed at 8, we had to choose our food ASAP otherwise they couldn’t cook what we wanted. Why take a 7.45pm booking then and why offer no flexibility in timings, especially as this was a bank holiday weekend so more people than usual would have been in the restaurant? Then we were told that a third of the menu items we chose were unavailable for various reasons anyway.....! The food came in a reasonable time and it was nice but it was still disappointing because it wasn’t really what we had wanted. Also, they forgot to bring us one of the tapas and didn’t even apologise properly when we pointed that out. Worse still, three quarters of the way though our meal we hear and see the same waiter filling an ice bucket with ice. Where did that come from? We tried to flag down some service but by the time we were successful we’d finished our food (and had not once been asked if then food was all okay and as expected, or if we needed another drink) so it was a bit late then to order a big jug of sangria. When challenged regarding the ice the waiter said he was “just about to come over and tell us”. Sadly he had not. Naturally we made our feelings known on the shambolic nature of the meal and service and in the end he agreed we would only pay for the food and not the two drinks we had each had.
