Tigerlily focuses on a unique culinary template of market inspired California Cuisine that features produce from our own organic farm in Sonoma County, as well as whole spices sourced from owner Deepak Aggarwals spice farm network in northern India. Many of these complex yet comforting dishes will be served on custom made earthenware from Berkeley’s own Sarah Kersten Ceramics. Our ethos at Tigerlily, is to embrace the challenge of cooking delicious organic food that uses every ingredient to its full potential, with as little waste as possible. We hope to offer an innovative and inspired menu that pays homage to our historic neighborhood, but in a fun and relaxed environment.”

Had never been and was asked to find a place for eight people coming into town to celebrate a marriage reaffirmation. Tiger Lily seemed intriguing and my first two attempts were already booked at the time I needed. I took a shot, and it was a huge home run with everyone. Great food, great atmosphere, great staff.

Always a wonderful meal at Tigerlily. Fried chicken and the Brussels sprouts are my favorites. The drinks are wonderful and creative and the wait staff thoughtful and doing just what they need to do. Highly recommend it.

The food was very creative and inventive, but I missed the more traditional Indian cuisine I was expecting. The staff is very friendly, but seems very inexperienced. Our seating was on bar-height, backless stools, which was less than comfortable.

Good selection of cocktails, wine and beer. The tuna tartare and avocado and beet salad were delicious. The fried chicken was good but heavy and the tikka masala was sauce on the side. Lots of pork options though I don't eat pork. Service was a great balance of attentive and aware. My friend and I were enjoying our conversation and didn't feel rushed but also didn't find ourselves waiting around for our food. It was well-timed. I'd recommend this for drinks and apps or a dinner where you want something a little different.

Go!! It's delicious. Squid Ink Nan, best onion rings I've ever had, fried chicken Tikka Masada is unreal, as is the tandoori lamb chops. You can't go wrong with any of these dishes

Food was fantastic. Adding Indian spices to traditional southern dishes, like chicken and waffle, elevates the food in a whole new way. Service was a bit slow, but the wait was worth it. The waitress was nice and attentive. Will definitely be back!

A lovely setting with an exciting menu and spectacularly good food. Everything from the cocktails to the Brussels sprouts were delicious and unusual without being odd-for-odd's sake.

I've been here a half dozen times. The service is always lackluster. It boggles my mind how it can be consistently mediocre. The food is fantastic, though, and makes me not hesitate to come back here. Lots of dishes that are creative and unique. Great cocktails too.

Great food, interesting combinations. Cocktails creative too. Nice Berkeley vibe. Service when we were there was not very good. Over a half hour wait between dishes ordered, and the restaurant was emptying at the time. Other than that, definitely a good restaurant.
