   Went there for daughter’s bday. Food was fine and drinks were ok. Reason for low rating is they want you to pay cash but don’t tell you upfront (they have a convenient ATM in their restaurant). They pretended to run 3 cards and told me each time to call my bank (we had been on the island for over a week with no issues and we aren’t anywhere exotic). Well I have alerts on my cards (and work for a bank/merchant processor) and didn’t get any alerts saying my card was declined. I also made sure I used all 3 of the major cards (visa, MasterCard and Amex). While they were nice about my daughter’s bday, a bit of honesty on their tender choice would have been appreciated.

   The food has gone downhill. For the past two years this was our favorite spot on the island, but this visit was nothing to write home about. Tuna poke was nothing more than some lightly marinated tuna over rice with.... what on Earth were those??? Giant rice cakes? Were they there to take up space in the bowl? Try some pickled cucumbers, seaweed salad, assorted veggies, cashews. So boring and not worth the price. Beef bulgogi tacos and KFC wings were both very good, intense flavor and the tacos had great textures and color. Duck dumplings were tiny and not worth the money. $8 for a virgin piña colada is robbery. And you should never allow dogs at a restaurant. The golden retriever at the next table couldn’t stop wagging its tail in my son’s dinner.

   Portion size was huge and service was impeccable. Sitting outside on their was beautiful with ocean close by
