Three Lakes Restaurant is unique in many ways.
Firstly, the view promises to take your breath away, in fact it boasts the most spectacular view in the county. The restaurant sits on top of a hill and overlooks a gorgeous piece of patchwork countryside including our three fishing lakes.
Secondly, the food is outstanding, we offer a varied lunch menu including freshly prepared light bites as well as 2 or 3 course options for those that enjoy a long lunch. In the evening we continue our long lunch menu offering a varied and scrumptious three course menu.
Thirdly, our friendly staff will endeavour to accommodate your needs where ever possible.
We open 7 days a week throughout the year(excluding christmas eve, christmas day, boxing day and new years day), for anything from a cup of coffee and slice of cake to a romantic dinner for 2 or a meal for 40!

(Please note Afternoon Tea/Mothers Day/Fathers Day/Easter Sunday and Valentines evening require a deposit so you will need to call to book)

We always enjoy eating at Three Lakes. Food, ambience and price is excellent and Alex is very pleasant and helpful.

Regret we were not impressed. Very noisy. We requested a table in a quieter area by the windows and were told they were not available. One of the other tables was still vacant when we left. My fish was soft mushy and not very pleasant. The gravy on the roast beef was thick and looked unpleasant. We were not asked if we wanted the beef rare or well done. It turned out to be very well done. The tables were too close together although ours was not too bad. No good beer on draught. Altogether very disappointing.

Nice restaurant with a great view. We had a late lunch. Food was really good, not big portions and some dishes served with just a green vegetable selection. The sticky toffee pudding delicious!

Good overall though not sure the score will reflect. Food was good, well seasoned and portioned service was good but got slower as the meal day worn on (we were perhaps the last of the lunch time eaters) two adult main meals, two kids meals, 3 soft drinks and 1 large glass of wine, 2 deserts and 2 coffees. I’d expect to pay around 60 maybe 70. Bill including service came to nearer 90 needless to say that’s quite a lot for a small family outing at least more than I’d anticipated. Ah well for around the 50/60 mark they get a repeat customer, a little too expensive for what it was, nice but pricey.

Fantastic cream tea. 2 huge fruit scones, plenty of cream and jam and a nice pot of tea. Overall excellent.

We would recommend if not a special occasion. It was our anniversary lunch and the place was rather shabby re decor and the food was average for the price.
