With such an abundance of beautiful, wholesome produce found in the fields and gardens of Kent, we make sure our kitchen team uses local suppliers on a daily basis to bring you the best and freshest of all seasonal offerings. Combining traditional pub fayre with modern classics we believe our menu has something appealing for everyone. Each day we also offer a number of specials just to keep things interesting and we always like a suggestion too! If there’s something you’d like to see on our menu just let us know. The Woolpack, or ‘The Woolly as it’s affectionately known, is a family and dog friendly pub and restaurant with six individually designed bedrooms. The Woolly is a hub for locals and visitors alike and you can always rest assured of a warm welcome. Placed in the middle of the High Street, next to the Town Hall, the pub has open fires, a warm cosy atmosphere and some excellent ales and wines. Come and see for yourself. The staff at the Woolpack were very friendly and professional. They were very accommodating in respect of my husband and daughters dairy allergy and the food was amazing. It was great that they served wines from some of the local Vineyards. I would highly recommend a visit.

The food had some excellent parts but silky things like the pitta served with the hummus and the smoked chicken was baked so hard as to be inedible. Staff are lovely

The food was great and at a good price. We enjoyed the wine - again good price and value. We were seated by a window with a view of the church; great place. The service was good and we will certainly be back.

A disappointing dinner. I was the only diner there, which is always slightly alarming and they put me (a middle-aged woman) at a table where people standing at the bar could stare straight at me. Disconcerting. Very tough steak but the rest of the meal was OK.

Service very good, restaurant comfortable & we enjoyed ourselves. Food however was very poor. Fish pie with almost no fish, but huge amount of mash to distract. Pork belly obviously pre cooked then fried to heat up; not only bad texture but greasy/oily on the plate. Similar disappointing experience with Sunday lunch at Wooly couple if months ago! Menu's do read as flamboyant and interesting, unfortunately the food doesn't live up to the billing!! Sorry, but not returning.

The food was very over done. Burger patties were so overcooked they were crunchy. Fish and chips had inedible ends that were so hard they were impossible to cut with a knife. My husband enjoyed his vegan option.
