   Roast potatoes were either overcooked or left under a heat lamp too long, very tough. Otherwise ok

   Roast dinner, consisted of hard potatoes, all the food on the plate was cold, the meat was fine but there wasn’t any roast potatoes on either of the plates! You charged an extra £2 for one tiny pig in blanket, we did complain the waitress was really nice and we did get a refund. But it was a birthday meal with family which we were looking forward too!

   Have eaten at the Woodside on many occasions, good food and value for money, staff always attentive and courteous.

   Upon ordering told the food orders close at 9 when the menu says 10 so we were rushed. Ordered the specials from the menu given then told they wernt available that day and when presenting an email to say book a table on the specific date we would receive a free bottle of prosecco told we didnt have the voucher printed off so couldnt have it. Very poor quality service took the shine off a 60th birthday meal.

   When we arrived at the Woodside we were told a booking had not been made by Opentable. This was a little embrassing as we were with friends. I wiill in future ring the restuarant direct to book

   Great location and ambience. Felt cosy with open fire. Food was slow but the pub was busy with no warning of wait of 30 mins on food. Food we excellent when it came . Waitress was very friendly but welcome in to the pub could have been better

    Over cooked chips, tough chicken and sick of the waitress calling us sweetheart or darling. Waited ages for food so definitely won't be going back.
