   Carvery was very tasty and well seasoned but unfortunately the wait to go up and get carvery was so long, everyone was moaning about about service

   Nice food, very pleasant staff. Pub needs TLC but difficult these days I guess. Would ho again

   Our first visit and really enjoyed the meal. Everyone very welcoming and friendly. The table we were shown to wasn’t suitable for us but an alternative and much quieter one was soon found, thank you. We were offered a loyalty card which will be used and any question we asked was soon answered. The food was very good- a carvery with 4 very tender meats, and plenty of veg, plus nice hot gravy. Desserts were very acceptable too, especially being Mothering Sunday I had mine free! Nice gesture , thanks again, Whilst the decor was more on the rustic side, it was clean and we didn’t see anything wrong with that. Looking forward to our next visit, Well done The Woodman!

   Staff very friendly. A choice of three meats for the carvery. Would return.

   There was 7 of us and had 5 different meals. The lasagna The only way i could describe it was all pasta and nothing else. And if you decide to pay by cash don't bother because they didn't have change.

   Would have preferred carvery to be using full joints of meat not pieces of a full joint. No beef or pork available only gammon & turkey so can’t really be classified as a carvery. No sausages available. Good choice of vegetables cooked to perfection and plenty hot enough

    Great experience, food amazing, freshly cooked, not mass produced, tasted like the chefs really care! Very like a home made roast. Good choice of veggies and amazing roast potatoes. Meat very tender and tasty. Dinning room a little cold, but that’s the only slight issue we had Will definitely be back, and will recommend to friends Thank you Woodman
