   Had an absolutely amazing cocktail experience thanks to Alberto, whose knowledge of drinks and artistic approach to mixology truly sets the Wild Son apart from anywhere else in New York. With a great, trendy ambiance and friendly, engaging, cool bartenders, there’s little else you could ask for!

   Food is very good and unique. Not basic and boring. They plate the food very nicely and present well. They take dishes and make them their own instead of doing what every other restaurant has already done before. I liked the cocktail menu too very interesting and unique and, of course, they were good too. We had a 9pm reservation and they were out of a few of the items on the menu. I assume because it is a smaller restaurant and they only have enough ingredients for that evening or a few days so things stay fresh. Regardless, our food was excellent and their brunch is by far one of the best brunches I've had. Get the buckwheat pancakes with the honey and berries and one of the breakfast sandwiches, you won't be disappointed!

   Fourth time eating at this gem and it doesn't disappoint. Interesting menu items with delicious food. Wonderful service. Great cocktails. Lively but cozy atmosphere. Both the server and kitchen did a stellar job accommodating my multiple food allergies.

   Amazing restaurant in an otherwise less memorable part of the city. Very creative and well cooked items. My friends (tough critics) loved the evening - especially the birthday girl!

   Creative food and cocktails near the Whitney. Sweet service, but would have loved a decaf espresso after dinner. Worth the detour, and great value at happy hour if you love oysters.

   I LOVE The Wild Son. This place is such a well kept neighborhood secret. Bartenders are great. Kale margarita will change your life.

    Excellent server who was well versed in the menu to help me with my multiple allergies. We started with happy hour drinks and oysters which were both great. I had the black fried rice (added roasted chicken) and it was delicious. My partner had the smoked trout and loved it. Always great music and a fun atmosphere!
