   This was highway robbery!! I could have eaten better at a Golden Corral. $250 for three people and the food was average if not poor. Ambience was cold and boring. We were literally in a big room full of square tables set up more like a convention center than a restaurant. Save yourself some money and go elsewhere for an Easter brunch. It was horrendous!

   The mansion is stunning, minimalistic, yet elegant. The staff is pleasant and friendly though seemed understaffed and disoriented. It took at least 15 minutes from seating to drink order. Several items were not available on their new menu but only learned so after ordering. Once food did arrive, appropiate utensils and plates needed to be requested. The food was good, but not great for the price. It seems like a nice venue for a reception.

   The main course of the meal was fabulous. The side dishes were below average for a restaurant of that statue. We made 8 o’clock reservations, and before we even ordered our food, We were the only ones in the restaurant. The service was great. But we felt bad being the only guests in the restaurant

   This was my second experience here. The service was much slower than the first time. The ambience was real nice though. And I really appreciated them catering to me when I accidentally put in for two people on my reservation instead of three.

   The Wilbur is always our go to restaurant especially for a special occasion which was this evening celebrating our 57th anniversary. Samira, our waitress, who we have had the pleasure of her attentiveness with previous dining experiences, was as always a delight. Another excellent meal with drinks, wine and a complimentary celebratory warm brownie with ice cream, whipped cream and chocolate/ caramel drizzle

   It was me and my parties first time going and we were excited. We sat for over 45 minutes with just water and no one took our order. We then waited another 20 minutes or so before the drinks came. We were told they were understaffed and busy and that was the reason for the slow service. We decided to leave after one appetizer and we waited another 20 minutes to receive the check. Severely disappointed and hope they become better organized as the building is beautiful.

   Overall, we did not have a good experience. After we were seated, it took over 20 m for our server to approach and give us menus. Then it took another 10m before she came back with water. She was always saying , “I will be right back”; however that was 10-15m afterwards. The manager never came over to check on our table either when he was in the same room chatting with other guests. The steak was not served as ordered and had to be sent back. We were there for 2.5 hours with most of the time spending waiting for our server. The busboy was very efficient and attentive. We were celebrating our anniversary and the only person who acknowledged that was the hostess!! For a fine dining establishment, we expected excellent service from both management as well as our server. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning or be able to recommend Wilbur Mansion to our friends.

    Our server was amazing! He went over the menu with us and had suggestions! Food was 5 stars! Mixed drinks…5 stars.
