The flavour of the food was very good. The roast was a bit on the cool side, could have done with being hot when it was served. Bit mean on the carrot and parsnip as only only have a slice each but the beef was plentiful. Yorkshire puddings good and my roast potatoes are crispier - sorry - bit they are - however I am not mass producing. It was cold sitting at the back of the pub and would not want to sit there again. Would want to sit at the front of the pub when we come back again, which we will do. Staff were excellent, polite, helpful and cheerful, which is why we left a big tip.

Inedible lamb , all fat and bone all mains were luke warm! unhelpful bar man told kitchen shut so got take away on way home!! Manager good didn’t charge for mains. Hardly saw any staff?

Great meal. I know it is hard at this time but if you advertise table service please honour it. Yes it was busy, but to have to leave your table to find a member of staff to order a drink, leave your table to do the same to place your order and the leave your table to ask for the bill, is not really table service. Really enjoyed the fish and chips, highly recommended. Will be back.

We were a party of 6 : 4 adults plus two children - along with a fairly young puppy. The restaurant was well spaced out with plenty of room for everyone. Service was immediate and attentive and the food was great ! I'd prevously rated a sister venue up in Chiddingfold as excellent - and this was every bit as good. Many thanks to the Wheelwright team for a great family lunch.

The staff were welcoming, helpful and very friendly. The food looked and tasted lovely and would definitely visit again. The pub is much bigger than expected and looks lovely inside. It is a lovely pub for any occasion.
