   What a lovely spot! Great cocktails, great food, and wonderful, friendly service. We have been looking for a new restaurant near Symphony for ages, so it will now be our go-to spot!

   Crabcakes had a strange aftertaste. Pasta was dry. Burger was dry. Appetizers and entrees all came out at the same time. Service was excellent Restroom was clean. But the food was unappetizing. What is wrong in the kitchen?

   It was very crowded the evening we went and it took 15 minutes to get two glasses of wine. Our server was good, but stretched to his limit. The restaurant may be a victim of its own success.

   The Westland is our go-to place when we attend performances at Symphony Hall, Jordan Hall and the Huntington. The food is always good, the atmosphere is pleasant and it's right next to Symphony Hall.

   Tremendous food, ravioli and steak were delicious! Service was wonderful. Bathroom was old but spotless. Alcohol expensive, food more reasonable.

   My boyfriend and I came from Symphony Hall for dinner on a Friday at 5. We had reservations and were sat immediately. Our waitress was amazing, our food came out quickly and when we needed to leave quickly to catch our train the waitress got our check and ran through my card in record time. Food was delicious. We split the meatball appetizer, and ordered a French Dip and Steak Tips. Steak was done beautifully and had amazing flavor. The French Dips was delicious and the meatballs too! Everything came out hot and quickly. We also had the creme brûlée for dessert which had fresh berries on top. Very good. Will definitely come again and have already recommended it to friends going to the symphony next month.

   Wonderful for dining with a friend before going to the symphony next door. The food was good and the noise level low enough that we had no trouble engaging in conversation (unlike in most restaurants).
