   Our first time eating at The Well...it was great service, bigger portions, and delicious healthy food. Will definitely be going back!

   An enjoyable place to relax and get a great meal. All ingredients are fresh and made to perfection. Kenzie was attentive and polite.

   The Well has become a weekend ritual for me and my gal pal. Exceptional food, delicious wine, and a good atmosphere.

   The Well has a great menu with many healthy options. The parking at this location is terrible.

   The chicken tacos were delightful; the dessert (ice cream with turmeric and chocolate sauce) was exquisite. We had dinner on a Monday evening (6 pm) and we were the only ones there until almost 7. Our servers were very attentive and able to deal with my husband's weird boomer humor. For this alone I give them a 5. We will definitely return often.

   So happy I found this restaurant. The food is absolutely delicious. The portions may be slightly on the smaller side, but the quality makes up for that. Everything I had was delicious and I cannot wait to visit again. And super super nice weight staff as well

   Unfortunately, I think the hype is larger than the quality. The food was so so, nothing you couldn’t create at home easily. There needs to be a little uplift in flavor & imagination. Although the staff was pleasant, timelines of getting all of our entrées was lacking & service standards were not met. Half of our table received their food 10 minutes before the rest. Examples: The steak was well over grilled & eggs were over cooked, as requested by our party. Items were also missing & had to be requested more than once.

   Tried the wagyu twice now and twice I'm disappointed. Really tough piece of meat that doesn't taste like wagyu quality.

    This was my second visit to The Well. The first time was at the W. 2nd location in downtown Austin, and the second was at the Westlake location. Both are wonderful havens for diners with food allergies. Because I am Celiac, the Gluten-Free menu offers a sanctuary of "no-worry" GF ordering. The food is outstanding; in particular, the Ceviche at the Downtown restaurant and the Salmon Crudo at the Westlake restaurant were beyond delicious, fresh and perfectly seasoned. I did notice the Westlake Chef is more heavy handed with dressing the pasta pesto. The Chef at the W. 2nd location has a more deft hand with the pesto, applying a lighter and more unctuous rendition of the sauce, which included a slight citrus addition, while the Westlake version is thickly coated and harder in texture, providing more of a heavy one-note flavor without any added freshness to cut the richness. Still, overall, The Well has become one of my favorite Go-To GF restaurants in the Austin area.
