The Wandering Griffin will be the first independently owned microbrewery restaurant in Beavercreek, Ohio. Phase One was completed with the Grand Opening of our restaurant in December 2016. Phase Two will include construction of a 10 BBL brewing system in mid-2017. Our goal is to present a unique full-service restaurant offering the best craft beer, food, coffee, and entertainment in the Miami Valley. The building has the feel of a comfortable neighborhood pub through the use of historic building materials expertly installed by local craftsmen. The menu includes freshly made soups, salads, sandwiches, and entrees including vegetarian items with a special menu for weekend brunches. An event room is available for private parties and a large patio will provide a comfortable spot to enjoy our fine weather days.

                                                                                                                            Host was attentive and took us to our seats. Waitress was very pleasant and was always up on top of our drinks. Very nice service.

                                                                                                                            The bartender/waitress was great. The food was really good and the selection of beers was spot on. The host was the whole reason that I gave 3 stars. Had a reservation at 7 for a table. Got there 15 minutes early. Was told that our table would be ready in 20-30 minutes. No big deal. Was told we could go to the bar and get a drink. Asked if they were going to page us when our table was ready. Blank stare. 10 minutes later after at the bar, host comes up and says our table is ready. Told him we had to close out our tab as we found seats at the bar. Big sigh from the host “You can just sit here then”. Then was charged twice for our meal on the card. Food was good, beer was great, but the host ruined our experience.

                                                                                                                            OK place but have no desire to go back again. The menu consists of your average typical bar food with a selection of IPA and stout style beers. Nothing special here.

                                                                                                                            We had steak and salmon and both were very good, though the food was a little salty overall. Our server was great. This was the first time we'd eaten there but we'll go back to try other dishes.

                                                                                                                            A mildly positive recommendation. The beer selection was fine (hard to get this wrong anymore) but the food was just OK. I had the Cuban, and the bread was stale and fries were a bit undercooked. My wife had the flatbread, and the crust was thicker than she expected for a flatbread, but it tasted fine. Service was friendly but pretty slow. Ambiance was nice on a Saturday night.

                                                                                                                            I made reservations for a high top and they never looked at the reservation. Got sat at a low top table. Tried to change my reservation to add one person but open table said they couldn’t do within 2.5 hours of my reservation. So I wasn’t able to bring the extra person. But the restaurant was half empty the entire time we spent there. What’s up and who had it wrong b

Didn’t tell us about the specials and sat us at a dirty table . She wiped it down and left it soaking wet . We had to ask for a towel to dry it off ourselves . We left .
