   We booked a small get together for our first wedding anniversary, we wanted to celebrate at all saints where we got married. We was very disappointed with the menu selection at the view, there wasn’t a good selection, it was very poor. There had more selection on the starters and small bites. Unfortunately we had to leave and find somewhere else for our anniversary meal, which was very disappointing as we wanted celebrate where we got married.

   There was a very long wait between courses. When the main course arrived, one had to go back, because it was cold. Also both were served on cold plates. No apology or discount for above. Would not go back.

   We really enjoyed our visit to the View. We hadn’t eaten there for a while and we were really impressed. We were sat at a table in the new extension and the decor and ambiance were excellent. The staff were friendly, helpful and very efficient. We ate from the set Valentines menu and were impressed with the standard of cooking and presentation. The crab ravioli was delicious and a good piece of cooking. The salmon tagliatelle was equally good together with the desserts. In all a lovely evening with superb food. We will certainly return.

   We shared squid and mussels. I had mushroom gnocchi and my husband had fish and chips. Then chocolate torte and ice cream sandwich. We were given complimentary prosecco, as we were celebrating! Food, service, ambience were all top class. We were staying at the hotel another night, so decided to eat there again the second evening!

   Nice Restaurant part of Hotel and Golf Complex. Food and service very good. Will certainly visit again.

   Our party of 7 had lunch to celebrate a 50th wedding anniversary. Staff were brilliant, very friendly and attentive. The food was lovely - we will definitely be returning.

   Staff were very helpful and friendly. Everywhere was clean. Food was very good. I have an allergy and nothing was too much trouble.

    The Festive Menu was not available for booking on the OpenTable website and there was NOTHING on the OpenTable website for the option of booking a table for the Festive Menu. When we arrived we were given an ordinary table for lunch when we expected a Christmas table with crackers and decorations. When we complained we were told that because we booked on Open Table we couldn't order from the Festive Menu. The wait staff were awful. The chef would not accommodate us. Instead we got a booking at the Bunbury Arms in Great Barton who took us on short notice. We had dined at The View on November 19, 2023 with a large group of 16 and the food was cold, the meat was almost non existent and the dessert was like eating rock. Gravy and vegetables were insufficient for the size of our group and cold. In spite of this, we thought we would The View another chance but came away thoroughly disappointed by the attitude of the staff. Will never eat there again. Highly recommend the Bunbury Arms in Great Barton. Though. Lovely atmosphere, helpful friendly staff. Great food.
