   Got treated like absolute garbage by the foreign waitresses. Just because we weren’t ready to order after 2 minutes of sitting down, she walked away and huffed then when we were ready to order she wouldn’t come back to us and just ignored us. Absolute shambles, if you are going to hire foreign waitresses then please make sure they have manners. The food, I ordered fruit and yogurt for my starter and all it was was 4 small bits of water melon 4 grapes and 3 raspberries with yogurt on the top on a plate. The main was the carvery, he had no beef left which was a let down, the peas hadn’t been cooked and the roast potatoes were hollow. Desert was trio of chocolate and the mouse had a layer over it like it had been sitting in a fridge for weeks. My experience with the restaurant has put me off completely even with wanting to stay a night. I am not wanting to come to atholl spend my money and be treated like that with horrible food and service. Never again.

   Arrived to no reservation although we booked online. It was not that busy, so the waitress found us a lovely table, for two, by the window. The views are lovely. The food was really delicious and the chef carving the roast was delightful. His manner was very pleasant and helpful. All the staff were pleasant. The carvery roasts were succulent, so dissapointment there. Yes, I would go back again and take my friends.

   Excellent venue with amazing views from your table. Service quick with an excellent choice of food. The buffet offered a large selection of meats and vegetables.

   The hotel is lovely and staff were pleasant. I wasn’t impressed with the food. The starter was quite bland, cavery Main was ok and the sweet was terrible. Chocolate fudge cake which seemed like it was just bought in and cold served with no cream/ ice cream etc. I don’t think the food was value for money at all and having looked forward to it I was quite disappointed.

   Hotel was lovely and food was good. Only complaint was that 2 of the starters were unavailable therefore I had to have something that I would not have chosen otherwise.

   Very good restaurant with great service - shame your booking system did not work and hotel had no record of the booking!!

    Excellent 3 course carvery meal couldnt manage dessert.Prompt sevice comfy and staff very polite including the chef.Meat was superb.
