Executive Chef Jon Simoneau has developed a menu that features fresh, sustainable raised Colorado beef for quality steak selections and a range of New American dishes that can be enjoyed. We also have a full cocktail bar and carefully curated an extensive selection of wines that is approachable and newcomers and connoisseurs alike.

We are located adjacent to Union Station on the corner of 15th & Wynkoop. Our focus is on consistently good food without the frills and fuss of haute cuisine but delivering on 5-star service.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Top notch service (not overly pushy, not overly chatty), food was AMAZING, happy hour food and deals were priced well and a great value. Everything came out fresh, hot and delicious. Great location downtown, walkable but also close to multiple parking garages. The vibe inside was great - wasn't overly crowded, was a quiet/ peaceful dining experience. Huge wine list. Overall, 5 star dining experience and would not hesitate to come back.

This was my first time to Velvet Cellar, my husband’s second. We were greeted with a warm and welcoming smile and seated at the best booth in the restaurant! Kyle, our waiter was attentive and answered all of our questions. We enjoyed 3 appetizers and a lovely wine flight accompanied by a couple of cocktails. Everything was perfect! We will be back!

My go to for a business meal. The menu is varied enough to make sure everyone is happy. The cocktail and wine lists are strong. The food and service is excellent! Definitely a go to for a great meal and experience in downtown.

Amazing food, loved the quality of wine, steaks and green chili aranchini. Courtney was a wonderful server - we’ll definitely be back again soon!

The servers were very pleasant and top notch. Everyone worked as a team to provide excellent service. Food was unique and very flavorful. Happy I took my customers here for dinner.

It was the first time to Velvet Cellar, but not the last! Went for my wife' birthday before an Avs game and loved the vibe as soon as we walked in. The shareable menu was fantastic. Our server, Courtney was attentive, friendly and very helpful. The shrimp and grits - loved it. My wife had the burrata salad - loved it. We will be back!

first time here. Busy night, but got right into our comfortable booth. Excellent food. Prompt and attentive service. Bartender brought out our drinks which were excellent. Enjoyed the variety of wines on the wine flight. Risotto was excellent.
