The Vail Bar is located in the back of the first floor of the mansion, just behind the grand staircase. Originally constructed as the mansion’s library, the room now serves as the epicenter of Jockey Hollow’s cocktail culture. The room exudes warmth and conviviality; it’s the perfect place to meet after work for a cocktail and oysters, to enjoy a meal at the bar, to marvel at the cocktail creations being composed in front of you, or simply to party the night away. Our bartending team has created a selection of seasonally-inspired specialty cocktails as well as an extensive menu of classics cocktails catalogued by distillate. The back bar contains over 200 spirits ranging from everyday favorites to rare bottles. Jockey Hollow’s extensive wine list and beer program are also available.

The setting, ambiance, and decor were excellent. Great drinks from knowledgeable bartenders and truly outstanding food made for a wonderful evening for my husband's birthday. We will definitely be going back. Thank you!

What a cool place. The building was VERY unique. I believe it was an old bank converted into a restaurant. The food was fabulous and the atmosphere very nice. It was a little loud in the bar area for a business dinner, but overall the place was great.

Had Easter brunch and the menu selections were thoughtful and different. We each tried a different item and shared dishes. Ocean trout was delicious and perfectly prepared. Always a great experience here!

Lovely casual dining experience. Whether you want a great burger, raw bar or duck breast it’s a cut above. The Vail room is warm, cozy and intimate.
