   Twisted Chopstick is outstanding. I was originally concerned because OpenTable has the wrong address in Deland. I called the restaurant to locate them in downtown Deland. Our server, the menu selection, the sashimi, seaweed salad, my dry cold sake, the whole experience was everything I was hoping for and more. As I am a Military Veteran they even provided me a gracious discount! I will be back many times, probably for lunch during the week. Thank you Twisted Chopstick for being part of one of DeLand’s outstanding places to dine!

   The sushi was amazing! Our server was very nice, but I think there was only two so it made it challenging for them, but they handled it well. We will definitely be back!! Sadly they are only beer and wine, but its still fine.

   Definitely a hidden gem south of Downtown DeLand. Great atmosphere and great food selections.

   We were so delighted to have finally eaten here. Everything was fantastic! Will definitely be back. Only lacking wine and beer But know they are working on it.

   Charming atmosphere with friendly and efficient service. We had Poke Bowls with fresh fish, edamame, and roasted brussel sprouts. The brussel sprouts were a bit dry and burnt tasting, but our other items were fresh and delicious, and the foods we saw others eating looked fresh and well presented. We will definitely go back!

    There was no one at the restaurant and the hotel it is located in was locked. The hours online said that it should have been open. Really weird experience.

    I am so sorry you had this experince. We were closed for 3 weeks while we were on a culinary journey through Japan. We notified OpenTable and Google that we would be closed and neither website fixed our hours. We would love for you to give us another try and offer 10% off for the inconvenience! Thank you.
