    We have found the Turnpike hit and miss in the past but chose it today for Sunday lunch. The staff are polite but disinterested. My lamb roast had very little meat and the Yorkshire puddings were very flakey with no substance, veg was under cooked and bland. At £13 I expected more on my plate. When staff asked us how the meal was I informed them of all this and despite that got charged full meal price so we left quite unsatisfied with no intention of going back. It could be so much better!

    I have been to the turnpike on many occasions and have always enjoyed the great food and friendly staff highly recommend this little gem 👋😀
