Had a good lunch on what looked like a fairly busy day. Service was friendly and polite, generally efficient too. Food was good but only had sandwiches so nothing too complicated. Would recommend for such occasions. The bar looks really smart and the place has some nice touches which all add to the atmosphere.

Has been a recent favourite place to go for client lunchs of late, sadly on Friday there seemed to be a lack of choice from the menu and the service was well below the level you would expect . Disappointing and not sure I'll be returning

Love the ambience of this place. Food is decent, good choice of beer and a proper service. Came here many times and will probably be coming again!

Reservation was made for 13:00pm, arrived at 12:58 to be told that our booking was for 12:15pm and that there was no table. Front of house staff were incredibly rude and will not go back.

I was enticed by the venue from the décor, it is very pleasant to look at and fits in very well with the pub. Considering the area the pub is located, the value is very good. Would definitely recommend to anyone around the Bank area.

Cheap and cheerful, the pork belly was very tasty. Prices were unbelievably reasonable for the city. Great place to grab a bite. Only downside was a horrendously loud live band playing a set through the meal, not exactly the ambience desired during a meal. Would visit again.

Good food and cool surroundings, but being primarily a bar, it was incredibly noisy. You had to shout to hear each other. I recognise that’s what you sign up for by going to dinner in a bar, but by the same logic I personally wouldn’t go back there for dinner again, so it’s 3 stars.

The venue looks nice but it's definitely not a place for a sit down meal where you want to have a conversation. Unless it's a super drunk conversation where you can't hear the other person anyway. It's the equivalent of your local pub down the street. Food wasnt great. Waiters tried their best though.

Enjoyed the atmosphere and the ambiance but was disappointed by the food - ordered pork belly which came out dry and chewy. Also our fries were warm rather than hot. Service was good but let down by the food. Otherwise a decent place to spend an afternoon with a glass of wine!
