   Location was fabulous, sheltered yet able to see the sights. Food was great service was a bit hit and miss due to lack of staff not poor staff. Overall we had a good night with good food that suited all tastes

   Great spot to relax in London close to the river. The terrace is great for a leisurely lunch. The staff were very polite and attentive when ordering initial drinks and food, however at times it was hard to get their attention for further drinks, dessert and the bill.

   Had a quiet lunch here with my Mum the day before Mother's Day. We were a bit disappointed as we had booked The Terrace at The Royal Horseguards and arrived only to be told it wasn't yet open for the year. We had lunch at the restaurant inside instead, which was a little pricey but lovely nonetheless!

   Terrible. 1.) This restaurant no longer exists. The manger tried to explain this was OpenTable's fault. Frankly, I care less about fault and more about making it right when I'm bringing a party of 9. 2.) When informed that the restaurant was closed, we were sat in their bar. 3.) Service was very slow. 4.) Credit card machine failed - thankfully we had enough quid. Avoid, and would never recommend to a friend.

   Let me be clear, this is the second time I have eaten here and have only dined on the outdoor terrace so can not speak to the actual indoor restaurant. This time it was a smoother path to getting seated outdoors (since that is specifically where we booked to sit). It was a pleasant day though not too sunny. The service was good and my food was tasty. It was never hard to get the staff's attention so it was an enjoyable meal overall. I like the setting as it is outdoors but secluded too. There are umbrellas to shade you if the day is too hot but plenty of spots to sit directly in the sunshine if there is any wand you choose to do so. If you want an guaranteed nice setting on a nice day I'd definitely recommend booking here on there terrace specifically.

   I read very mixed reviews about this restaurant but knew the weather was going to be great that day and wanted a guaranteed outdoor seat. I was able to book specifically the outdoor terrace. When we arrived we entered the main hotel and started to look around for any obvious signs of where the terrace was. We asked several staff who all seemed very confused as to what we were referring. Finally, as a staff member was leading us to the indoor restaurant, I saw a sign that pointed to the "Terrace/Terrace Room" I mentioned this to him and he said that was not correct. We walked towards it anyway. When we arrived to the doors of the terrace a gentleman was setting up a table and we asked if we could just go out there. He said we could not because it was being set up for a private party. As we walked out and showed yet a third person our reservation confirmation, a gentleman on the terrace confirmed we could not sit out there because of the private party. I mentioned they should not have let us book a table there if there was a party. We were lead to another area of the terrace that was more lounge like, with low outdoor sofa/seats and low tables, like you would sit at to enjoy a cocktail. But having a whole meal on this furniture would have been really awkward and uncomfortable. We saw one small table in a corner where some patrons were having coffee or tea and asked the staff member if we could wait there and have a few cocktails until that table opened up. We waited about 30 minutes there which I didn't mind since we were having cocktails and no large party ever showed up on the blocked off part of the terrace for the party. After a bit, a staff member said we could indeed sit there as the party wasn't s as large as they thought or something to that effect. We sat to dine in beautiful sunshine and the food was good and the service was too. It's just too bad there was so much confusion and disorganization from the start.

   For the price and the expectations set by virtue of being in a high end hotel the reality is shocking. The terrace feels claustrophobic, the views are restricted and it's in the shade in the afternoons. Service was fine as was the tea. However, serving a premade chocolate tart that you could find at Tescos? Seriously? No wonder this place is desperate with 1000 points from Opentable.

   Open table allowed us to book this restaurant for new year eves whereas the restaurant actually had a private event ( or thats what we were told ) which almost spoiled our new years!

    Food & service fine, but it's worth noting that the terrace wasn't actually open even though we booked it. One has to sit inside in the restaurant. No idea why they did not have any record of the booking either
